{the little things} calligraphy

If there's one thing I think a person should splurge on - with time or money - for an event invitation (mail in general), it's hand lettering for the envelopes.  Although a great idea and huge timesaver, using adhesive labels just doesn't cut it.  Take my word for it, a hand addressed envelope done by yourself or a professional is a little bit of love for your guests.  Above are some of my favorite calligraphers, all having different signature styles.  Don't be afraid to look for a local calligrapher and if you're feeling gutsy, ask to develop a new style for your event.

  1. I absolutely agree! Calligraphy is beautiful. Yes, it takes more time & money, but it is very worth it.
