{familiar face} kelsey kay stewart

And we're back!  Making up for the blog hiatus (been pinning like crazy and working on some new business identities), is a special treat.  Meet Kelsey.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Joyful, genuine, complex.

How has design influenced the way you work?
As a photographer, design gives me the opportunity to really tell a story of something beautiful and profound.  Whether it be designing a blog post or a wedding album, the sequence/colors/tones/layout/contrast/perceived texture/emotional content put together just right, enables me to share something that I experienced with the rest of the world in such a way that it conveys real emotion and life, and gives them a sense of joy and hope.
What is the paper good you can't live without, practical or otherwise?
My journal.  It holds onto and makes sense of my heartfelt thoughts because my brain certainly can't; I guess that's the nature of an artists mind.

Thanks to Kelsey for sharing a bit about herself!  Truly talented, you can see her work scattered throughout my website...  And, you can check her out elsewhere at the Ken Kienow Wedding Photography.
