{around town} batch

I spent Saturday wandering the Central Coast with my friend Michelle, and our last stop of the day was Batch.  Not really know what to expect (but loving the whisk used as an exclaimation point on the sign) we wandered in and were not disappointed.

Bold walls, a colored spatula "collage", fun seating, and the work of local artist Jeff Claassen (seen on the t-shirts and the piece outside) add some personality to the small space.  Such a fun concept and great execution have made this little whole-in-the-wall a must.
